I'm a lot of things, but in short: I'm a UX and content designer who cares as much about words as images.
That pairing is a theme in my background. I studied English and Art History in college (Yale) and grad school (University of Pennsylvania). As an editorial manager at a medical journal, I worked closely with an artist on every issue's cover to reflect the themes within the pages. And while working in communications, I wrote content for marketing campaigns and websites, deepening my understanding of what makes a visually and narratively compelling brand.
I'm deeply methodical and evidence-focused. I cut through extraneous information to pinpoint the deeper issue and validate my conclusions through research. Then, I combine design and language to persuade, evoke, and educate. I thrive when I can use these skills to help solve problems related to climate and education.
Outside of work, you'll find me with a coffee in hand, probably walking, reading, baking, or embroidering. Some of those hobbies are harder to do with one hand clutching a cold brew, but I'm basically a master at this point.
I am based in Northern Virginia.
